FAQs

Q - How long have you been doing boudoir photography in Kent?

A - I used to shoot primarily portraits however the sensual shots evolved after I was asked to shoot a portfolio for a pole dancer back in 2005. Other women saw the photos and it took off from there.  None of the photos on the site are of professional models, they are all 'ordinary' women from all walks of life, with pretty much the same body hang ups and insecurities we all have, I get a tremendous buzz showing how fab they look with the right lighting and composition.

Q - I'm not sure I want to reveal so much of myself
A - It is your shoot so you decide exactly how much or how little you want to reveal.   All photos, whether pregnancy, portrait or the ones you see in my Boudoir gallery, are taken in the comfort and privacy of your own home and are designed to be tasteful and flattering. Confidentiality is assured. I always take the time before and after each session to discuss your requirements. I like the shoot to be a relaxed and enjoyable time for you and as you browse through my gallery, you will see that many of the shots are very discreet.

Q - I have stretch marks and don't want these to show in my pictures
A - Don't worry! I have a digital darkroom and am able to remove stretch marks, spots, blemishes etc. I prefer that the images remain true to you so very little enhancement is made unless specifically requested. All work is retouched to some degree to emphasise and enhance features.

Q - What sort of clothes should I wear?
If it is for a pregnancy or boudoir shoot, I advise that you wear something loose so as not to have marks left on your skin, have a robe available for relaxing in between shots. Plain clothing without logos works best of all and black or white always look great.

Q - I would love to have some beautiful photos taken for my husbands birthday, but I am a size 18, is this a problem?
A - Absolutely not! I love taking pictures of women with curves, they are to be celebrated! I only take pictures of real women, not models. I'm sure your husband will be delighted with gorgeous, sexy, sensual shots of you.....

Q - I am pregnant and would like to have shots taken, when is the best time to have some photos taken?
A - Anywhere from 34 weeks on is usually the best time to capture your precious bump in full glory! Please bear in mind that I will work at your pace and comfort, and am happy for these sessions to overrun should you need to rest.
